Tannin binding was created by OldForum
Hi,
I'm binding procyanidins (Tannin) to the gold surface, but no success in removing. I've tried with Urea 6M, NaOH 0,1M-Triton 1%, Hydrogen Peroxide. Any suggestions?

Hi this not be easy because gold adsorbs proteins and other stuff very easy.

Try 4% SDS.

The mixture of 0.1 M NaOH and 1% Triton X-100 should work in most cases but maybe is your protein sticky.

Look at the following link ( www.ti.com/lit/an/slya018a/slya018a.pdf ) for more information and hints.
